099823-01 VIEW I INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS MERCEDES BENZ S320, S420, S500 (1997-99) S600 (1997-98) PLEASE READ COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THIS Pro.Fit VSMTM. All instructions assume a drivers seat vantage point. Caution is advised when removing and reassembling wood or plastic parts of a dash. Applying unnecessary force or pressure may cause a piece to crack or break. Pro.Fit logo and part number will be right side up and readable when installed. TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips screwdriver, T-15 Torx driver, hook tool, protective cloth. PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit VSMTM, instructions. LOCATION: To the right of the radio/CD and navigation system control keys. STEP 1. Open glove box door. Locate a black cap attached to the end of the wood grain trim that covers the vent control knobs in the upper left corner of glove box. Insert hook tool behind this cap and pull back to release. Behind cover, locate and remove one (1) Phillips screw and set aside. Remove wood grain trim which runs along airvent control knobs by grasping on far right side of trim with your fingers and pulling towards you, releasing two (2) clips. Set trim aside. STEP 2. Locate two (2) screws holding airvent control knobs in place. Using Phillips screwdriver, remove
